After integrating with your Accounting Software of choice, you will need to set up your Chart of Accounts in Control Panel for each Invoice Profile that you have setup in LEX.
What is Chart of Accounts?
The Chart of Accounts is a list of accounts where you wish to book keep certain things into specific accounts in your accounting software.
To setup your Chart of Accounts, go to Control Panel, under Billing > Manage Invoice Profiles.
Click the Edit button (pencil icon) on the Invoice Profile you want to edit.
Then click Define Chart of Accounts.
A list of Account Names and Account will appear.
Edit the Account column and enter the account numbers for each one (if applicable).
Important Notes:
1. You need to go back and do the same for all of the other Invoice Profiles you have available.
2. If you do not do this, finalizing invoices will fail to send to accounting due to your Chart of Accounts have not been setup.
Notes:
1. If you have Fortnox integration, this will be set for you with the default values. Please check and confirm that they are correct if you decided to use the default integration settings. If not, edit them accordingly.
