Revamped Client & Case Notes
The Client & Case Notes component has been updated for better performance and usability. This update is strictly architectural, all previous functionality, data, and User workflows remain unchanged; with some minor improvements.
As mentioned, previous functionality such as using @ and # remains untouched. This can continue to be used.
We have added styling buttons to the bottom of the Client and Case Note dialogue for easier content formatting.
From left to right;
Text Style: A dropdown to select text hierarchies, such as Normal, Heading, or Subheading.
Bold: Applies a heavier weight to the selected text.
Italic: Slants the selected text for emphasis.
Underline: Adds a horizontal line beneath the text.
Numbered List: Creates an ordered, sequential list using numbers.
Bulleted List: Creates an ordered, sequential list using bullet points.
Text Color: Changes the color of the selected font.
Highlight Color: Applies a background color "highlight" behind the text.
Insert Link: Opens a prompt to hyperlink the selected text to a URL.
Insert Image: Allows you to upload or embed an image directly into the note.
New Features!
First five Notes are visible
To ensure that the Notes does not clog up the entire Case Details-view or Client Details-view, we will only display the first 5 of X Notes.
You can view the additional Notes by clicking the Show X more notes... at the bottom.
Imbedded Images
Additionally, we now support imbedding images directly into the Notes. This will resize to fit the UI if imbedding large images and/or screenshots.
Which can be double clicked to expand the image to its full size.
Pinned Notes
You can now Pin Client Notes or Case Notes. These will only Pin the selected note to the top of the list and can only be visible as such directly from the associated Card.
For example...
Here is an example Case where a User has added an important note; as seen below as the second note.
To pin the important note, click the 3-dots (bottom right of the note), and click Pin this note.
It will then show up at the top of the list and remain there even when new Notes are added.
