It is possible to re-calculate the amount of time spent for a case to match a specific sum, this function is available on two sum-levels,
- Case time records
- Case / User time records
To access the re-calculate function, follow these steps,
Open a draft invoice to edit, (see article xxx on how to open a draft invoice, Ensure time tab selected.
Now to re-calculate time records on a User records level press the “+/- h”-icon do open up the re-calculate dialog.
In the dialog, enter the amount of “Desired Case Sum” followed by clicking “Calculate”-button, than the closest possible sum will be shown. When you are satisfied with the result, press “Apply Time Length Recalculations”. This will change all the time records length to match the entered sum.
The changes to the time records will be stored permanently after you press “Save Changes” on the invoice, until then they can be undone by pressing “Discard Changes”
Same process can be done to re-calculate time records on Case/User-level.
Now you can see new amount is adjusted recalculate on a user records level
“Save Change” to complete work
