Discounts on Client Card
As a Client Manager, Assistant, or Administrator, you can now create pre-defined Discounts on the Client Card. Pre-defined discounts can be created for the whole invoice, or for a specific case, or for a specific case participant on a case.
Once discounts have been defined and saved, each new invoice created after this will have these discounts applied. The discount(s) can be removed during the invoice draft process under Adjustments.
When adding one or more Clients to a case, an optional client role can be set. This can be used to make a distinction between the primary client and other related clients.
It is now possible to define an Alias for Clients, which can be searched using the main search. An alias is an internal or unofficial name for the client.
You now have the ability to provide a reason for changing a Person or Company name in the Client, Payer, and Person Details.
Additional Multiple Payer Invoice Support (Client Card)
You now have the ability to add multiple payers on the Client Card. This feature was previously introduced on the Case Card where you can:
- Set and/or change the percentage between payers.
- Pin percentages for a specific payer(s) so that it does not change when adding additional payer(s) shared percentages.
Each payer will have their own invoice with the same time/expense records shown, just with the summation of their percentage share.
When adding new payer(s), the change will take effect on new cases created after this has been defined and does not affect any ongoing cases.
To assign all the changes made on the client view to all open cases, check the checkbox "Assign changes to open cases", then all changes will be applied directly on the open cases.
When adding new payer(s), the change will take effect on new invoices created after this has been defined and does not affect any ongoing draft or approved invoices.
Confidential icon in Lists
You can now see a 'lock icon' on all Confidential cases in every list view including the Main Card, Main Search, Client Card, and other views where cases are displayed.
User Rights Confirmation dialog when switching to Confidential Case
As an Assistant, you already have the ability to turn on 'Confidential' on for a case. However, in doing so and you are not a Participant of the case, you are locked out of the case from being viewed. To avoid this, a warning dialogue will now be displayed asking if you want to be added as a case participant to be able to still gain access to the case after.
Hiding time/expenses on invoice specification
You now have the ability to hide time and expense records from the invoice specification by clicking the 'eye'-icon (shown next to the billable/unbillable icon) when editing a draft invoice.
Send finalized invoice to multiple e-mail receivers
You now have the ability to select multiple emails when Finalizing an invoice and selecting the 'Send Invoice as E-mail function. Emails that are displayed in this drop-down are from the Client, Client Contacts, Payer, and Payer Contacts.
Invoice Comments Count
When viewing invoices in any Invoices-view, you now have the ability to see the 'Comments' icon is displayed with a number count. These comments count includes comments made on the Client and Case Cards, as well as comments made directly on the invoice itself.
Case Expenses View
As an Assistant, when viewing the Expenses-view in Case Card, the default view has now changed to "Manage Expenses" and "Approved"-view. This has been changed because these views are most commonly used for Assistants when working in the Case-view.
Case Time Records View
As an Assistant, when viewing the Time Records-view in Case Card, the default view has now changed to "Manage Time" and "Approved"-view. This has been changed because these views are most commonly used for Assistants when working in the Case-view.
Long Descriptions for Time/Expense Records
When creating a time or expense record and writing a description that is longer than two lines will automatically fade. Hovering over or clicking the description text will expand the description text to display all of the text within.
Archive Number When Closing Cases
As a Case Manager or Assistant, you will now have the ability to fill in an archive number or option to retrieve the next available number in the series when closing a case.
To select the next number in the series, simply click the 'wand' icon next to the 'Archive Number' field and the number will be inputted automatically. You can also input your own archive number.
Invoice Email Setup for Payers
As a Client Manager, Case Manager or Assistant, you are now able to define one or more emails to send to if applicable when finalizing an invoice. To set this up, go into the Payer section in the Details-view in the Case Card.
Clicking on the 'Send invoice using e-mail...' link, will bring down a text field where you can either enter the email you would like to send to when finalizing an invoice or select from the drop down options (if applicable). The drop down recommendations will come from the Client, Client Contacts, Payer or Payer Contacts.
When you generate an invoice after setting up an email on the Payer, new invoices created will now display a new '@' icon next to the invoice number. Hovering over this '@' icon will display the email(s) you previously setup.
When you get to the finalization of the email, the dialogue when clicking 'Finalize' will display the email(s) setup already in the field provided and the 'Send Invoice as E-mail' is preselected. You can remove/add emails here if required.
