Here is a list of all report filters that you can find across all reports within LEX247.
Note:
When multiple filters are selected, they are combined and have an "and" operation that applies. Regardless of how many filters are chosen, the system will check that all parameters are met and then generate data/assets that have all of said criteria's.
Below is a list of all report filters that you could see when generating reports.
Period Type (Created or Invoiced)
This period type selector is only available on all Time & Expense related Reports.
Period Type is the “date” you wish to select based on whether you want to generate assets on when they were either registered (Performed) or billed (Invoiced).
- Performed Date (Utfört datum)
Selecting this will display assets of when they were registered/performed in the selected period. - Invoiced Date (Fakturerat datum)
Selecting this will display assets of when they were billed/invoiced in the selected period.
Period Selection
There are a few different period selectors depending on which report you choose to generate. You will be required to select a period, or date range, where you select a start date and then an end date.
It will look something as below.
For example, if you wish to generate a report for the month of April, you should select a start date of 01/04/2021 and an end date of 30/04/2021. You can either enter your own date in the field provided or select the date from the drop-down calendar.
You may see one of the following period selectors.
- Period Created (Period Skapad)
By default, it will be pre-selected for the ‘Last 30 days’.
Period Created, will generate assets that have been created or invoiced (depending on the Period Type you have selected) within the selected period.
- Period (Invoiced Date)
By default, it will be pre-selected for the ‘Last 30 days’.
Period (Invoiced Date), after selecting the start/end date, the report will generate assets that have been billed/invoiced within the selected period.
- Period
By default, it will be pre-selected for the ‘Last 30 days’.
Period, after selecting the start/end date, the report will generate assets that have been billed/invoiced within the selected period.
- Period (Client Create Date)
This filter is only available in the “New Clients” report.
By default, it will be pre-selected for the ‘Last 30 days’.
Period (Client Create Date), after selecting the start/end date, the report will generate data from when clients were created within the selected period.
- Period (Case Create Date)
This filter is only available in the “New Cases” & “Ongoing Cases” reports.
By default, it will be pre-selected for the ‘Last 30 days’.
Period (Case Create Date), after selecting the start/end date, the report will generate data from when cases were created within the selected period.
- Period (Closed Date)
This filter is only available in the “Closed Cases” report.
By default, it will be pre-selected for the ‘Last 30 days’.
Period (Closed Date), after selecting the start/end date, the report will generate data from when cases were closed within the selected period.
Billing Unit (Resultatenhet)
Billing Unit filter allows you to select a specific billing unit to generate assets for. Being able to select another billing unit will require you to have the 'Access to all Billing Units'-right set in the Control Panel.
If you do not have the right, this will show the billing unit you belong to. The report will then generate assets that belong to your billing unit.
If you have the right, you can select (if any) other billings units if you wish. Selecting a billing unit will generate assets that belong to that billing unit.
Business Unit (Affärsenhet)
Business Unit filter allows you to select a specific business unit from the drop-down menu. The business units selectable will depend on what Billing Unit was selected previously.
The report will generate assets/data based on the business unit(s) selected. If nothing is selected, then all business units will be included in the report.
Clients (Klienter)
Client filter allows you to select one or more clients to generate assets/data from the drop-down menu. You can search for the client name or number in the field.
The report will generate assets/data based on the client(s) selected. If nothing is selected, then all clients will be included in the report.
Client Tags (Klienttaggar)
The Client Tag filter allows you to select one or more client tags from the drop-down menu. You can search for the client tag in the field.
The report will generate assets/data based on the client tag(s) selected. If nothing is selected, then all client tags will be included in the report.
Note: only approved Client Tags (in Control Panel) will display in the drop-down menu.
Client Status (Klientstatus)
There are four Client Status' you can choose from.
- Active (Aktiv)
Active clients are clients who have ongoing cases with you. - Pending Approval (Avvaktar godkännande)
Clients pending approval are clients who have a case with you that is a case request where they have yet to be accepted/approved. - Rejected (Avvisad)
Rejected clients are clients who have had declined case requests but were rejected. - Inactive (Inaktiv)
Inactive clients are clients with no ongoing cases.
The report will generate assets/data based on the client statuses selected. If nothing is selected, then all client statuses' will be included in the report.
Cases (Ärenden)
Cases filter allows you to select one or more cases to generate assets/data. You can enter the case name or case number in the field and select the case as it appears in the drop-down menu. You can also enter the client name which will then bring a drop-down selection of all cases related to the client.
The report will generate assets/data based on the cases selected. If nothing is selected, then all cases will be included in the report.
Case Manager, Executive Lawyer (Ärendeansvarig, Verkställande jurist)
Case Manager, Executive Lawyer filter allows you to select any User that is a Case Manager with the 'Executive Lawyer'-tag set.
Case Manager, Responsible Lawyer (Ärendeansvarig, Ansvarig jurist)
Case Manager, Responsible Lawyer filter allows you to select any User that is a Case Manager with the 'Responsible Lawyer'-tag set.
Case Type (Ärendetyper)
Case Type is the same as Practice Area.
Case Type filter allows you to select one or more case types (practice areas) to generate assets/data for from the drop-down menu, or write in the text box to search for the specific case type (practice area) you wish to select. If nothing is selected, then all case types will be included.
Case Tags (Ärendetaggar)
Case Tags filter allows you to select one or more case tags from the drop-down menu, or write in the text box for the specific case tag you wish to select. If nothing is selected, then all case tags will be included.
Note: only approved Case Tags (in Control Panel) will display in the drop-down menu.
Case Status (Ärendestatus)
Case status is the “status” of the case within LEX. There are only three statuses; Open, Closed, Pending Request or Declined Cases. If nothing is selected, then all case status’ will be included.
- Open (Öppna)
Selecting this will only generate assets for cases that are currently open (active). - Closed (Avslutat)
Selecting this will only generate assets for cases that have been closed. - Pending Request (Förfrågan pågår)
Selecting this will only generate assets for cases that are still pending. - Declined Cases (Nekade ärendeförfrågningar)
Selecting this will only generate assets for case requests that have been declined.
Case Roles (Ärendedeltagare roller)
Case Roles filter allows you to select a specific case role that has been set for Case Managers or Participants within cases. These case roles are seen and set on either the Case Card, Participants-view.
Selecting any case role from the drop-down menu will display assets for any entity that has that role setup in any case. If nothing is selected, then all case roles will be included.
- Responsible Lawyer (Button) (Ansvarig jurist)
This button is added to make it easier to select the role ‘Responsible Lawyer’ role in the field. This is typically the most popular selection.
Activity Type (Aktivitetstyp)
Activity Type filter allows you to select one or more activity types from the drop-down menu or write in the text box for the specific activity type you wish to select. If nothing is selected, then all activity types will be included.
Client Managers (Klientansvariga)
Client Managers filter allows you to select a User (lawyer) from the drop-down menu or write in the text box for the specific client manager you wish to select. If nothing is selected, then all client managers will be included.
Acquirers (Ackvisitörer)
Acquirers filter allows you to select one or more acquirers from the drop-down menu or write in the text box for the specific acquirer you wish to select. If nothing is selected, then all acquirers will be included.
Acquirers are seen and set on the Case Card or Client Card, Details-view.
Client Acquirers (Klientackvisitörer)
Client Acquirers filter allows you to select one or more client acquireres from the drop-down menu or write in the text box for the specific client acquirer you wish to select. If nothing is selected, then all client acquirers will be included.
Client acquirers are seen and set on the Client Card, Details-view.
Case Acquirers (Ärendeackvisitörer)
Case Acquirers filter allows you to select one or more case acquirers from the drop-down menu or write in the text box for the specific case acquirer you wish to select. If nothing is selected, then all case acquirers will be included.
Case acquirers are seen and set on the Case Card, Details-view.
Time keeper (Medarbetare)
A time keeper is any User who has reported time.
Time keeper filter allows you to select one or more time keepers (Users) from the drop-down menu or write in the text box for the time keeper (User) you wish to select. If nothing is selected, then all time keepers (Users) will be included.
Invoice Profile (Fakturaprofiler)
Invoice Profiles are created in the Control Panel.
Invoice Profile filter allows you to select one or more invoice profiles from the drop-down menu or write in the text box for the invoice profile you wish to select. If nothing is selected, then all Invoice Profiles will be included.
Outgoing VAT (Utgående moms)
Only available on any 'Expense' type reports.
Outgoing VAT filter allows you to select whether to display expenses with VAT, without VAT, or both.
- All (Alla)
This is selected by default. This will show all expenses that have VAT and without VAT. - Vat Included (Momsbelagt)
Select this to only display expenses with VAT. - Exempted (Momsfri)
Select this to only display expenses with VAT exempted.
Show only Overdue
Only available in the "Outstanding Invoices" report.
Show only Overdue filter allows you to display all outstanding invoices (overdue and not overdue) or only overdue invoices.
- Yes (Ja)
Select this to display only 'Overdue' outstanding invoices. - No (Nej)
This is selected by default. Select this to display all outstanding invoices, including 'Overdue' invoices.
Time Status (Tidspoststatus)
Time Status filter allows you to select certain time record statuses that they are in. There are only five statuses; Registered, Approved, Declined, Billed, or Deleted. If nothing is selected, then all time statuses will be included.
- Registered (Registrerat)
Select this to display all time records that are in 'Registered' state. - Approved (Godkänt)
Select this to display all time records that are in 'Approved' state. - Declined (Nekat)
Select this to display all time records that are in 'Declined' state. - Billed (Fakturerat)
Select this to display all time records that have been billed (in an invoice that has been Finalized). - Deleted* (Borttaget)
Select this to display all time records that are in 'Deleted' state. This status has a special handling where it is never included in the report by default; it has to be explicitly selected to be included in the report.

Select this to display all the time records in the states before they are billed. This will select the following three time record states.

Expense Status (Utläggsstatus)
Expense status for expense records is the 'status' that they are in. If nothing is selected, then all expense record states will be included.
Below are the selectable states. You can select more than one state if you wish.
- Registered (Registrerat)
Select this to display all expense records that are in 'Registered' state. - Approved (Godkänt)
Select this to display all expense records that are in 'Approved' state. - Declined (Nekat)
Select this to display all expense records that are in 'Declined' state. - Billed (Fakturerat)
Select this to display all expense records that have been billed (Finalized invoice). - Deleted* (Borttaget)

Is Billable filter is where you can select whether to display assets that have been billed or not.
- Yes (Ja)
By default, this will be selected. This will show only assets that have been billed (in a Finalized invoice). - No (Nej)
This will show only assets that have not been billed yet, this includes assets within draft invoices (invoices that have not been Finalized).
