To setup an account, first go to https://lex247.com/signup/ and fill in the application form.
The application will ask you for various information such as your name, work email, company name, phone number, and various other information about your intended usage of the LEX application.
Once you get to the part where it says: What's the name of the company or law firm you work at?
It is important that the company name or law firm name provided here will determine the domain name that will be used for you.
For example, if you enter your company name as Lawfirm ABC, then the URL to your LEX247 account will be https://lawfirmabc.lex247.com.
Finally, at the end you will be prompted to select either signing up with your Office365 account or using LEX247 authentication.
Use this if you would like to use O365 Authentication for logging into LEX247. This will be using existing O365 login details already set up to login into LEX247.
Use this if you would like to use LEX247 Authentication when logging in. Your Username will be the same email you inputted earlier in the setup. The password will be setup later.
Once you have filled in everything, click on ‘Create Account’ and your application will be sent for review.
You will receive an email saying that you have requested a trial account. The email will look like the one below.
Once the request has been approved, which can take up to about 24 hours, you will receive an email for activation of your account.
If you did not receive an email like above within 24 hours, please contact email@example.com for assistance. You will need to provide the following information:
- Email address
- Your company or law firm name
The above information should be the same as provided when signing up originally.
Simply click the Activate My Account button to start activating your account. If that does not work, there is a direct web link that will work.
You will be prompted to create a password. The email you signed up originally will be used as the User Name.
After creating your password, you will go through a quick setup guide to get you started with LEX247.
