To add a new Business Unit, head over to the Control Panel, under Organisation, click on the Manage Business & Billing Units.
Once you are in the Manage Business & Billing Units, click on the Add Business Unit button.
The following dialogue will appear.
The fields you will find are as follows.
- Display Name
Here you would add the name of the business unit.
- Parent Business Unit
Here you would select the parent business unit.
A Parent Business Unit is a business unit with one or more business units that report to it in the organizational hierarchy.
Here you would select the address of the business unit. It will be a drop down and these addresses come from when you input addresses under the “Manage Offices” under “Organisation" in Control Panel.
Here you would give an abbreviation of the business unit. You can use alpha-numeric characters, or you can click the wand icon next to it use the next available “number” to use.
Here you would select the country the business unit is in.
- Time Zone
Here you would select the time zone the business unit is in. This will typically be the time zone of the country it is in.
- Primary Language
Here you would select the primary language of the business unit. This will typically be the native language of the country it is in.
- Define as a Billing Unit
Clicking this will define the business unit as a billing unit. There will be a drop-down menu to enter additional details.
If you are wanting to add a Billing Unit, please click here.
If you are only wanting to add a Business Unit, simply click on the Create button and you are done.
