To change a Person Client Name, head over to the Client Card, Details-view, under the Name section.
Click on either the first name, the middle name (if any), or the last name you wish to change, then type in the text box.
Once you are done renaming the client, the following dialogue will appear below the client name.
To apply the change, you must select the reason for the change of information by selecting from the following options:
1. Correcting typo
This option has been set as default selection. By selecting this option, the previous name will no longer be searchable in the Main Search.
2. Person changed his/her legal name
By selecting this option, the previous will still be searchable in the Main Search.
Once you have selected the reason for the change of information, click on the Save button and you are done.
Note:
1. Ensure that you are either a Client Manager, Case Manager, or a User with the 'Assistant'-role, or a User with the 'Administrator'-right.
