Before you can start creating a new client, you must first create a new case or a case request using the Create Case button. You can find the button in the following cards, where the functionality is identical:
- Main Card
- Client Card
- User Card

In this article, we will create a new company client on the Main Card.
Click the Create Case button.
The following dialog will appear, provide the necessary information required to create a new case or a case request.
Click the Add Client... button.
The following dialog will appear, click on Create new Person/Company Entity...
The following dialog will appear with the company client already set as the default entity, you can click on Person to switch to the person client.

Fill in the following information:
1. Company Name
This field is mandatory.
Here is where you can enter the company name of the new company client.
2. Company Registration Number
Here is where you can enter the company registration number of the new company client.
3. Business Unit
Here is where you can enter the business unit of the new company client.
4. Address Type
Here is where you can specify the address type of the new company client, and the options are as follows:
- Office
- Billing
5. Address
Here is where you can enter the street address of the new company client.
6. Country
Here is where you can specify the default country of the new company client. The default country is the headquarter country specified in the Control Panel, Law-firm Settings.
7. Can be used for Billing
Select this option if you want the new address with an address type other than "Billing" to be able to be used as an invoice or a billing address.
8. First and Last Name
Here is where you can name the contact person of the new company client.
9. Job Title
Here is where you can specify the job title of the contact person for the company client.
10. Mobile Phone
Here is where you can enter the mobile phone number of the new company client.
11. Work Phone
Here is where you can enter the work phone number of the new company client.
12. E-mail
Here is where you can enter the e-mail address of the new company client.
After filling in the information, click the Create Entity button.
Click the Create Case button if you want to create the case directly.
Or click the Create Case Request button to create a case request. Please note that if you choose this option, the client will be considered pending and will not be accepted until the case is accepted.
Note:
1. Ensure that you are a User with 'Administrator'-rights set up to be able to create a client directly on the Case Card.
