You can add a Payer on the following Cards, where the functionality is identical:
- Case Card
- Client Card
When a Client is created, a Payer Entity for that Client is also created in the system. Furthermore, on the Client's ongoing Cases, the Payer Entity of the Client will be set as the default Payer of the Case automatically.
However, you can replace the Payer with another Entity in the system or add more Payers to the Cards by performing the following actions:
- Adding an existing Entity as a shared Payer
- Creating a new Entity as a Payer
- Replacing an existing Payer
Head over to the Client Card, head over to the Details-view, under the Payer section.
If you do not want the change to be applied to all of the Client's open cases, deselect the Assign changes to open cases option.
1. Adding an existing Entity as a shared Payer
To add another existing Entity as a shared Payer, click the Add Payer... button.
The following dialog will appear.
Type in the field to search for an existing Entity using the following information:
- Entity Name
- Entity Number
- Identification Number
- Entity Alias
Select the Entity you want once it appears on the list.
After selecting an Entity, click the 'Tick'-icon, and you are done.
2. Creating a new Entity as a Payer
To create a new Company or Person Payer, click the 'Plus'-icon.
The following dialog will appear.

Fill in the information, and click the Create Entity button once you are done.
3. Replacing an existing Payer
To replace an existing Payer with another Entity, hover your mouse cursor over the Payer until the 'Pencil'-icon (the Change Payer button) appears and click on it.
The following dialog will appear.
You can follow the steps in 1. to replace the Payer with an existing Entity, or click the 'Plus'-icon and follow the steps in 3. to create a new Entity as a Payer.
Notes:
1. Ensure that you are either a Case Manager, a Client Manager, a User with 'Assistant'-role, or a User with 'Administrator'-rights set up to be able to make a change.
2. The Case Card and Client Card all have the same look and functionality.
