You can finalize an invoice on the Invoices-view of the following Cards, where the functionality is identical:
- Main Card
- Case Card
- Client Card
- Payer Card
In this article, we will finalize an invoice on the Main Card.
Head over to the Main Card, Invoices-view, under the Approved section.
You can search for the invoices you want by scrolling through the list of invoices or filtering them.

There are two ways to finalize an invoice, and they are as follows:
1. Finalizing a single invoice
Click the Finalize button.
The following dialog will appear.
You can select the following options before finalizing the invoice.
- Invoice Date
Select here if you want to change the invoice date of the invoice. - Due Days
Select here if you want to change the due days of the invoice. - Gross Amount
This field is for informational purposes only.
This is where the gross amount of the invoice is displayed.
- Pay using trust account funds (if any)
Select here if you want to use the funds from the trust account as payment for the invoice. - Send Invoice as E-mail
Select here if you want to send the invoice via email after finalization. If an invoice email is already set, the field will be pre-selected by default. - Download Invoice PDF when completed
Select here if you want to download the invoice as a PDF after finalization.
Click the Finalize button, and you are done.
2. Finalizing multiple invoices
Select a single or multiple invoices.
Or select here to select all invoices.
Click the Finalize button.
The following dialog will appear.
You can select the following options before finalizing the invoice.
- Invoice Date
Select here if you want to change the invoice date of the invoice. - Due Days
Select here if you want to change the due days of the invoice. - Gross Amount
This field is for informational purposes only.
The display of the gross amount will be disabled during bulk finalization.
- Pay using trust account funds
This option is visible, but it is disabled during bulk finalization.
- Some of the selected invoices will be sent by e-mail
This field is for informational purposes only.
You can click on Show... to view the complete list of email addresses.
Click on the Finalize button, and you are done.
Note:
1. Ensure that you are a Case Manager, a Client Manager, a User with 'Invoice Approval Responsible'-role, or a User with 'Accounting'-rights set up to be able to access Invoices-view.
