To move a Time Record on Main Card, head over to the Main Card, Time Records-view, under the My Time section.
There are two ways to move a Time Record and they are as follows:
- Change Case
This method will automatically move the time record to the selected case, and can only be done per time record. - Move Button
This method allows you to select and move multiple time records.
Change Case
First, find a time record you wish to move, then click anywhere in the purple case name, where Change Case will appear on the right, then click on the case name.
This will bring down a drop-down dialogue where you can search for the case by scrolling through the list or typing in the box using the following information:
- Client Number
- Client Name
- Case Number
- Case Name
After selecting the case, refresh the page and the change will be automatically saved.
Move Button
First, tick the box in front of a single or multiple time records you wish to move.
Or you can tick the box below the action bar if you wish to select all time records in the list. After selecting all time records, there will be a pop-up dialogue showing how many time records have been selected.
Click on the Move button.
The following drop-down dialogue will appear.
You can search for the case by scrolling through the list or typing in the text box using the following information:
- Client Number
- Client Name
- Case Number
- Case Name
After selecting the case, click on the Assign to Case button.
The following dialogue will appear, click on the OK button to confirm, and you are done.
Notes:
1. Ensure that you are either a Client Manager, a Case Manager, a User with 'Partner'-role or a User with 'Assistant'-role setup to be able to move a time record.
2. If you are a Client or Case Manager, you can move other Users, who are Participants in your cases, time records by going under the Manage Time section. The dialogues and procedures are the same as described in this article.
