To set a client manager for a new client when creating a new case, head over to the Main Card, Cases-view.
Click on the Create Case button.
The following dialogue will appear.
Add the client and fill in the necessary information as you normally would when creating a new case, then click on the Add Case Manager... button.
The following dialogue will appear.
Here, you can add as many case managers as you wish with any role.
Please see the notes below, there is a configuration that can be turned on based on the role selected.
After you are done filling in the relevant information including performing a Conflict of Interest check, click on the Create Case button.
Once the new case has successfully been created, the Case Managers will automatically be set as Client Managers as below.
Notes:
1. The maximum amount of responsible client managers can be set in Control Panel, Law-firm settings.
2. There is a configuration where during the case creation dialogue, any Case Manager(s) with the 'Responsible Lawyer'-role will be added as Client Manager(s). If no Case Manager has the 'Responsible Lawyer'-role set, then all specified case manager(s) will be added as client manager(s).
