To add a new blacklist, head over to the Control Panel, under the Organisation section, click on Manage Blacklists.
The list of existing blacklists will appear, click the Add Blacklist button.
The following dialog will appear.
Fill in the following information:
1. Name
This field is mandatory.
Here is where you can enter the name of the new blacklist. This information will be used to check for conflicts of interest and will be displayed in the conflict of interest check result.
2. Legal Name
This field is mandatory.
Here is where you can enter the legal name of the new blacklist. This information will be used to check for conflicts of interest and will be displayed in the conflict of interest check result.
3. Notes
Here is where you can enter a note or additional information explaining why the entity is blacklisted. This information will be displayed in the conflict of interest check result.
4. Relationship Type
This field is mandatory.
Here is where you can specify the relationship type of the new blacklist, the options are as follows:
- User: Currently not used until a later conflict of interest check update is released.
- Client: If this type is selected, the blacklist will be displayed in the conflict of interest check result when creating or adding a client with a name that matches any information from fields 1, 2, and 5.
- Opponent: If this type is selected, the blacklist will be displayed in the conflict of interest check result when creating or adding an opponent with a name that matches any information from fields 1, 2, and 5.
- Payer: If this type is selected, the blacklist will be displayed in the conflict of interest check result when creating or adding a payer or a client with a name that matches any information from fields 1, 2, and 5.
5. Keywords
Here is where you can enter multiple keywords related to the new blacklist. This information will be used to check for conflicts of interest and will be displayed in the conflict of interest check result.
This can be used as an alias. For example, if you add a blacklist for Company A and a keyword as Company B (as they may be known by another name), and then try to add Company B as a client (for example) in the system, the conflict of interest check will not pass.
6. Description
Here is where you can enter the internal description that is only visible in the Control Panel.
After filling in the information, click on the Create button.
Click the OK button, and you are done.
Notes:
1. Ensure that you are a User with 'Administrator'-rights set up to be able to access Control Panel.
2. When performing a conflict of interest check, if a blacklist is available, the system will check direct matches for name, legal name, and keywords. If there are any matches, the results of the conflict of interest check will be displayed under blacklist results.
